I love nestabilities

GUESS WHAT!? I have scored myself some of those fan-dangled spellbinders nestabillities thing-a-ma-jigs, LOL
I found Michelles Scrapbooking and more in the US that had an awesome sale on the spellbinders. So I managed to pick myself up a few and they came so quickly.

This is the most impressed ive been in ages, go and have a look.

Thankyou Michelle

A layout and pics to share

It has been a while but I have finished another layout. (and yes it's of the wedding AGAIN!) teehee.

Well on the weekend we had our work xmas party. We went up to Avoca Beach and then up to Wyong to the Tree Tops adventure park . That was fun. We got all harnessed up and had to go through a series of obstacle courses high up in the trees. Here's a couple of pics of me on one of the flying foxes and some of the obstacles. I only did 2 out of 4, im a chicken hehehe. How sexy do I look in my safety gear!

Go Margs, you can do it!

The Boss man in the cargo net

Team work!Well thats it from me at the moment. They are saying it's gonna be another hot one today, so I better get motivated to do all my chores before it gets too hot,

Bye for now

November Inkurable Challenge

Hi everyone? How are we all? Hot? I tell you I bloody am! It hit 40 degress c. in old Sydney town today and I just checked on google just then and its only 38 now. They are saying we should get a cool change at 10pm tonite. Dont think I can wait much longer. So last night I started my November Inkurable entry and it was that hot I couldnt sleep and kept going until 3am this morning. Ive been working on it all day today in my sweat-room..errr.. I mean scraproom (LOL) anyway Im really happy how its all turned out.

The challenge this month is to create a Christmas themed twinchie.

Now for anyone who knows me well... I dont do Christmas! I cant stand it. but I am trying this year to make a good go of it for Pete.

I have never made an inchie or a twinchie before and I think they are pretty cool! Well I started of with 1 twinchie and was going to put it on a card but I liked it that much I had to make a whole set. So I made 9. Hahaha!

Here is a photo of the twinchies before I turned it into my Christmas decorated frame

And here is my finished product:

And a close up :)

I used a miriad of stamps from Basic Grey Winterland Collection, Some darkroom Dooor stamps and a couple of Hero Arts stamps. I even got out the old punches (that I havent used since I started scrapbooking about 4 years ago!) Ive used my favourite Distress ink pads, cuttlebug embossing folders and some bits and bobs to finish it off and mounted each twinchie on chipboard and popped it in a glass frame. The frame was black but I swiped rub n buff all over it to match the twinchies. I have used Christmas Images from Lisas Altered Arts as well - You must check out the website - Just beautiful images at a fabulous price. Its my fave site at the moment.

Well I better go and get some tea, I was going to make a quiche tonite but I am not turning the oven on in this heat. So we're having BBQ chicken on breadrolls with salad! A perfect summer Aussie dinner.

Bye for now, Del xx

look at my chest...

Treasure chest that is you dirty minded people LOL!!
If the kids behave themselves at my work they are allowed a prize from our treasure chest. Obviously we cant give out lollies (it's a dental surgery!)
Our old cardboard box treasure chest was looking a bit worse for wear, so guess who's job it was to make a new one? I remember at our staff meeting the words were "Danielle's crafty she can make it!" LOL

So I blew them away with this..... unfortunatley the pics dont really do it justice :(

Pete made the box from scratch! Isnt he amazing *sigh* heeheeAnd then I used some grungeboard and crackle medium to give it a real rustic kinda look. We bought some hinges from bunnings and its funny coz when you open it it actually makes a creeking noise, Love it!! And everyone at work loves it too :-) YAY US!

Now onto other news... Not any scrapping tho :( I did do a LO for my LSS but forgot to take a photo Grrr!!! And it was oneof my faves atm too. double Grrr! I forgot to post some pics of our halloween party

Me and the Boss man. (sorry couldnt turn the pic)Pete as Elvis! too funnyTheres heaps more on facebook if you wanna have a look.

So hopefully some scrapping soon. I've been asked to go to a friends house tomorrow to take some pics of there new little girl. Hopefully will get some nice ones to scrap too!

Until then.. Bye for now xx

Yay I'm home ...

From our relay. It was a Loooong 24 hours in the cold and rain. Well it didnt rain the whole time only halfway through my 2 hour stint at 1.30 this morning LOL and again after we started pulling the tent down.
I think we kinda had fun - although i was over it well and truely early in the peace. heehee By the way - you'll see in the photos we dressed up as Tooth Fairies LOL
Thankyou to everyone who donated and helped me reach my goal. Im not sure how much yet my team raised exactly but was a few thousand i think, We all made cakes and biscuis to sell at our cake stall as well so the money we received from that went to the cancer council as well.. In total the whole relay raised over $100,000! Pretty good effort!

Ok well im getting delirious from lack of sleep now so i'll add a few pics and go to bed.

That's right, We're taking to the track this Saturday because We're passionate about tackling health issues and being proactive in the fight against cancer. So if you're sick of me posting this it's because you havent ...donated yet!!

So what are you waiting for???

To donate, all you have to do is click on the link

You can donate online using your credit card or PayPal account. Remember, all donations over $2 are tax deductible and you get an instant online receipt. Every dollar raised at Relay For Life helps the Cancer Council to:

Cancer is a major issue. Did you know?

• One in two Australians will be diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85.

• Every five minutes, another Australian is diagnosed with cancer. While survival ratesare improving every day, cancer remains a leading cause of death.
